concept 01 : Memories
Nostalgic memories focus on important, meaningful experiences or relationships. They remind us that we are capable of living meaningful lives and being connected to others. Use the article "How Nostalgia isGood" as a script to create an animation
The emotion of nostalgia gives people a sense of rootedness and continuity in life, of the past and the future moving forward and developing, and recalling past memories and reminiscing about years gone by makes people feel safe and loved. So the intention of a tree was used to create ananimation with a narrative. The story is about a girl's tree of memories

Decisions & Challenges
Based on my music choices and the advice of the art director, I chose to go in the direction of concept 2 for further animation. The challenge was to create transitions with smooth animation using scripts with narrative poetry.
1st Pass Styleframes
A quiet and complex environment inspired by script. animation will be focus on transition animation and character animation

Based on art diractor's comments, I modified the background and style simpler to keep the audiences attention on the animation.

2nd Pass animatic
At this stage I finished the basic animation dynamics. With the advice of my art director, I will continue to improve on the animation and on the design.
3rd Pass Animation
At this stage, I finished coloring. Still missing the tree growth animation. For the sake of stylistic consistency, I dropped the original material on the tree and replaced it with a simple shape.
